There are four default fields available in the Direct Time Entry screen. These fields are not mandatory, but are useful for expediting bulk data entry:
· Default Subjob ID – Every transaction recorded in Eralis Job must be recorded at the subjob level. If the timesheet being entered covers several different subjobs, the subjob can be entered line by line. However, if the timesheet is related to one specific subjob, a default subjob can be entered. When a subjob ID is entered into the Default Subjob ID field, that ID will be automatically copied into any new line that is created on the sheet.
· Default Date – The date column reflects the date that the work was carried out. If timesheets are being captured daily, the user can set a default value to be copied into each line of the date column. This is done by entering the desired date into the Default Date field that is located near the top of the form.
· Default Quantity – Setting the Default Quantity field will set the default value for each new line in the Quantity column.
· Default Staff – The name in the Default Staff field will automatically be copied into each new line of the Staff column. This is useful if the user is entering a batch of timesheets for a specific staff member.
