The Job Contract screen is used in situations where billing schedules need to be established to bill according to pre-defined milestones or phases. The contract module allows the creation of billing schedules in order to bill the Business Partner assigned to the Job, irrespective of the work that may or may not have been done on the Job. This module also splits invoicing and revenue recognition into two separate functions, allowing the customer to be invoiced without raising revenue inside the income statement, and then accrue revenue and expenses based on work that has been carried out.
