Reports for Eralis Service and Service Pro

Inside Eralis Service and Eralis Service Pro, there is an admin section that allows companies to create report groups and to add reports to the web application that can then be run by other users of the system.

However, when the product is installed, there are no standard reports that are installed with the product (with the exception of a signed job card form / layout).

The reason for this is that all standard Report Writer reports that are available within Eralis Job can be run via the web applications.

In order to use these reports however, they need to be moved into the reports folder associated with the web application which is generally located in the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Eralis Software\Timesheet\Reports

If you want to know the path that the system is set to for reports, click on the System Info link on the login page of the web application and it will tell you the TMS Report path.

When you copy the report files into this folder please remember the following:

*** Each report contains two files - a file with an extension of .rtm and a file with the extension .rtp - both of these files need to be copied. If you do not copy both, the report will not run correctly. ***

Things to be aware of:

• The report group dropdown option is customizable.
• No path is needed for the report file name and you need to point to the .RTM file.
• With the user permissions, you can choose if the report is only available to users marked as Administrators in the user configuration of the web, or all users.
