The email settings are required for instances when the Eralis SAP Services Manager is not able to connect to the Enprise_Common database. This could be due to changes in the connection details for the SQL server that has the Enprise_Common database installed.
In such a situation, the Eralis SAP Services Manager will email the designated email address to inform them of the loss of connectivity. While the Eralis SAP Services Manager cannot connect to the Enprise_Common database, no further processing will be done on ANY of the installed services.
The email setup details can be accessed by either clicking on the Setup option of the Eralis SAP Services Manager utility, or else by clicking on the Setup button in the bottom left corner of the Eralis SAP Services Manager main interface.
The user will then need to select the Email tab on the setup screen.

Email From | The email address that should be used to send the email from. |
Email To | The email address of the people who should receive the notification from the Eralis SAP Services Manager. |
Test button | Validates the email server credentials that have been entered to ensure that a connection can be established and email can be sent if required. |
