Installation Pre-requisites

The installation of the Eralis SAP Services Manager is a simple 5-step wizard driven process. As the service is not an SAP add-on, the installer does not come with an .ARD file and you do not use the add-on install utilities within SAP Business One.

To install and operate the utility successfully, the following requirements must be met:

1. The installation must be run as a user with administrator rights to the machine. In a Windows 2008 / Windows 7 or higher environment, please ensure that you run the installation as an administrator. As the utility needs to write details into system directories and into the registry, without running the installation as an administrator the install will fail.
2. The installation needs to be run on the SAP Server which has the DI-API installed.
3. After installation, set the properties on EralisSapServicesManger.exe to run 'as administrator'
