Price and Cost Determination

The rules associated with cost and price determination are very simple. The system will reference the price list associated to the business partner on the job, and will obtain the price from the price list for that item. The cost is determined by SAP Business One and is based on the costing method as well as the From Warehouse. The system will use the costing method associated with the item code for the specific warehouse selected as the From Warehouse. When SAP Business One is configured for use with Eralis Job, it is recommended that the Manage Cost by Warehouse option is enabled. As a result, each warehouse will have its own cost associated to it.  

When a transaction is being entered, the cost price associated with an inventory item cannot be changed because SAP Business One controls the cost. However, the cost associated with a non-inventory item can be changed on the Direct Material Entry line.
