SAP Business One & Eralis Job

Eralis Job is developed specifically for SAP Business One. The add-on is embedded within SAP Business One and cannot operate without it. The two applications are closely tied in terms of the objects used in processing, as well as the look and feel. Where possible, standard SAP Business One objects are used rather than creating new objects in the system.

One of the key concepts to understand is the link between Eralis Job and the SAP Business One project codes. You have the ability to create project codes in SAP Business One to link related transactions. Each new Master Job that is created in Eralis Job creates a new SAP Business One project code. Every transaction that is generated by Eralis Job is tagged with this project code. This allows standard SAP Business One tools (such as the income statement) to be filtered down to a specific job.

By default, the Job ID assigned to the Master Job in Eralis Job is the same as the SAP Business One project code. This makes it easier to track the two codes. However, the system can be configured to allow the user to specify the SAP Business One project code.
