Bills of Materials

It is important to note that Eralis Job does support Bills of Materials (BOMs). The three primary BOMs that Eralis Job works with are the Sales, Production and Template BOMs. Please note that the system does not support Assembly BOMs. 

The Sales BOM allows for job-by-job editing of the BOM to accommodate specific customer requirements. It brings both the header and components directly into the Quote tab of the job, and follows the Direct Settings option to price by components or price by total. This allows the user to create custom BOMs based on the requirements of each job, rather than creating a different BOM for every potential option. 

Production BOMs are treated as a standard material inventory item code, and do not link into production orders within SAP Business One. 

A Template BOM brings through all the items defined in the BOM. After the items have been brought through, they are all treated as separate line items on the quote.
