Inventory in WIP falls into negative

Eralis Job does not reserve stock for a particular job. What is the best way to handle situations where stock was purchased against the job and by the time the user wants to invoice the customer, the stock is no longer in WIP?

The Inventory Audit report could be useful. It will show purchases (GRPO and up), inventory transfers and invoices.

You can run this by date range for the WIP warehouse, just for the item in question.

It shows the current value, the inventory going in and out for each job, and where the current stock is sitting, if it is sitting against the wrong job.

You could also run the WIP to GL report.
