Role of Rental Frequencies

The setup of rental frequencies can be accessed from the following menu: Administration > Setup > Rent > General > Rental Frequencies.

It is important to understand how Rental Frequencies are used as they are an extremely important aspect of rental processing. When you are quoting, dispatching or billing a customer for rental items, the unit price is directly related to the frequency that is being used for billing purposes. The system will calculate the invoice value by establishing the number of rental frequency periods between the start and end dates. The number of periods will then be multiplied by the unit price.

Note: When defining Rental Frequencies, the company can define a standard period and a short period.
